Our History
Australia’s Best Hot Dogs is a newly
formed entity following in the footsteps
of the highly successful Boss Hogs Hot
Dogs. In 1993 Boss Hogs Hot Dogs
established their operation in Sydney,
becoming the only national supplier of a
complete Hot Dog System.
By 1999 Boss Hogs Hot Dogs had set up a
franchise model and sold territories
throughout the country to motivated and
skillful sales and business people to
further grow the brand. The success,
recognition and market share has been
built on the dedication and hard work of
all franchisees.
A few years later the headquarters moved
to Melbourne and the parent company
diversified into manufacturing, where
the Boss Hogs Hot Dogs unique and
original recipe was developed. They also
ventured into other smallgoods products
and soon earned the reputation of being
reliable, great tasting and value for
money.
Unfortunately, towards the end of 2009 a
number of financial issues arose,
including the effects of the Global
Financial Crisis and by the beginning of
2010, the owners of the parent company
made a decision to liquidate Boss Hogs
Hot Dogs Pty Ltd and its subsidiaries.
As a result, the individual franchisees
had to make a decision as to whether
they would wind up their business, or
continue to supply a great product to
their customers. We decided to move
forward, and so we bring you today
Australia’s Best Hot Dogs, with a new
and improved recipe and service our
customers have come to expect from us
for a number of years.
So, Australia’s Best Hot Dogs was born,
and will continue to supply a great ‘One
Stop’ Hot Dog System.
